In the end they wanted to charge over £500 to replace it + service - over £1000! We looked at legal action but with no proof it was not worth it. Spent ages on the phone to Lotus HQ about it and they tried to help but in the end, and over a week later, we picked our car up - and were considerably poorer in the process. Two word: Never Again (going back to SGT in Taplow) Took a Lotus Elise in for a service & MOT and whilst in their ownership they broke the alarm.
